Overview Print

In addition to delivering top-notch legal solutions and services in Singapore and the region, we believe that true success can only come when we learn to reach beyond material accomplishments. We believe this to be true both in our relationships with colleagues at work, as well as the communities around us.

Just as our relationships with clients are enduring and mutually fulfilling, we want to adopt the same approach with our social responsibility initiatives. We want to make a positive impact on the communities around us, nurture tomorrow’s young talent, and help the underprivileged and the less fortunate. To do that, KhattarWong is committed to giving back to the community via pro bono work, volunteerism, fund-raising, donations and scholarships.

To that end, KhattarWong has adopted the Children's Cancer Foundation (CCF) as its charity. Set up in 1992, CCF’s mission is to improve the quality of life of children with cancer and their families through enhancing their emotional, social and medical well-being.

We also believe that community outreach goes beyond the material. To that end, we have several social and recreational activities planned for our volunteers to engage our beneficiaries on a personal level.

As part of our initiative to nurture tomorrow's young talent, KhattarWong is the proud sponsor of top legal scholarships from Singapore Management University and the prestigious Peking University in Beijing, People's Republic of China. The firm is also the proud sponsor of the KhattarWong Securities Regulation Award and the Corporate Governance Award for outstanding students at the Faculty of Law, National University of Singapore.  We have also sponsored the top Book Prizes for the "Law of Contract" and "Conveyancing Law and Procedure" for Temasek Polytechnic as part of our efforts to support the training of paralegals for the industry.

As a firm with a long standing reputation for ethics and transparency, KhattarWong is also the proud corporate sponsor of the Corporate Governance and Financial Reporting Centre in the National University of Singapore.

Internally, aside from competitive financial remuneration, we are also mindful of the need to provide a healthy working environment and good work-life balance within KhattarWong. To that end, we have in place a series of wellness seminars and events to emphasise the importance of keeping active and healthy.

KhattarWong is also proud to be a finalist for the HRM Awards 2009 for Best Retention Strategies.
